Dashboard airbag warning light illuminated, all MJ 2000 diesel models (Solution)

All Diesel MJ 2000.

Error:
Airbag warning light is illuminated.
Error code "01317 Control unit in the instrument panel housing, no communication" registered in the airbag control unit.

Cause:
When starting the engine, the minimum supply voltage to the instrument cluster is being exceeded.
As a result, the error code 01317 will be logged in the airbag control unit.

Procedure:
In case of a complaint, replace the combined unit and clear the error memory of the airbag control unit.
