I checked the adaptation channel in my MSTG and saw a reported injection quantity of 1.6 mg/stroke at warm idle without load. The target value is supposed to be 3-6 mg/stroke. Below that, jerking problems are expected to occur. However, I haven't experienced any such issues.

If I increase the value, more is displayed, but the engine pulls less strongly at low RPMs. If I reduce the amount even further, the engine starts to run unevenly when idling, with fluctuating RPMs.

How should I interpret the adjustment within the channel? Am I only changing the characteristic curve of the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF), i.e., what the Engine Control Unit (ECU) believes is being injected, or am I actually changing the real amount of fuel that enters the cylinders? The voltage of my MAF sensor is also 0.15 to 0.2V below the specified value. Could this be due to a misadjusted pump?

What exactly does AP channel 0 do? Does it reset the TCU (Transmission Control Unit) to its default values?

I am satisfied with the performance, but I'm interested in understanding how the channel is structured or intended to be used.

If you had looked up the articles, you would have come across this information.
Okay, I'm ready. Please provide the German text you want me to translate into English. Just paste it here, and I will give you the translation.

Well, apparently the technical articles are not always displayed in the search results. icon_redface.gif

You just have to enter the right search term... Using "Adaption" or "Anpassung" leads to the article mentioned above in the category "Technical Articles."
