In some other online forums, it's common practice for users to help each other out.
They have arrangements like that. If one person finds something, but the other person really needs it...
Or, if someone from the forum bids on an item on eBay, no other forum member should artificially inflate the price by also bidding on it. Things like that. I actually don't think it's a bad idea.
It doesn't have to immediately escalate, but at least then we can talk to each other.

It's just an idea. Maybe you can find something useful in it, or perhaps you have even better suggestions.
