Does the BKD have a wave compensation module?

Hi,

Due to the recent damage to the six-sided part of the oil pump drive, I would be interested to know if the BKD engine installed in a colleague's Touran is also affected.

Nein, der BKD Motor hat kein Ausgleichswellenmodul.

Allerdings kann der Spanner der Kette versagen, die die Ölpumpe von der Kurbelwelle antreibt.

Bei welchen Laufleistungen dies auftritt und wie häufig, bin ich allerdings überfragt.
