I know the problem.
Windows 98 must be installed, and the initial baud rate must be set to 240.
to be set. Best regards from huby.

Hello Maik.
'Are you familiar with the problem (where the baud rate cannot be synchronized)?'
older control units?

No... I don't know it.
Toshiba Tecra 540CDT running Windows 98 SE.
The oldest car I've owned was a 1992 Golf, and the newest was my 2002 Octavia. In between, I've owned pretty much anything with a VAG engine.
No problems at all, not even with the adapter that is compatible with the original Jeffs interface (except for the optocouplers and transistors).
CU Gremlin.

It's possible that the issue is with the adapter (from orig.Auto-Intern GMBH).
It is also stated in the manual that there are known issues with control units manufactured in the years 1993-1994.
'when it comes to the TDI.'
Soon, there will be an adapter that can read all baud rates!
