Hello,
'I'm also experiencing the well-known 'jerky' problem at low RPM in high gears with my 1Z engine. I want to replace my fuel injection pump, but the part number doesn't quite match. Can anyone tell me what the differences are and whether it's even possible to use a different pump? The original pump has the number: 028 130 115 N. I have a replacement pump with the number: 028 130 110 H, which is from an AHU engine. Can I install that one? According to AKTE, neither of these pumps is listed as a replacement part anymore. The 028 130 115 N is replaced by 028 130 115 NX, and the 028 130 110 H is replaced by 028 130 115 M.' Just a note...
I'm curious to see if anyone can help with this. Thanks in advance.

An "aaa bbb ccc dX" part is always an "aaa bbb ccc d" part in the exchange, meaning they are identical.
If an "N" is replaced by an "M", it is not possible to determine what is different based solely on the part number.
Unfortunately, I can't say anything more.

Hello, unfortunately, I can't tell you for sure whether the pump is 100% compatible. Are the connectors the same? If so, I would try it.
Or, as described here, try shifting the lid to counteract the shaking.

Don't move the lid, but move the top part --- or what?
Here in the forum, there are some nice pictures with lines drawn through them.
LID
TOP PART HEAD

Yes, Martin, you're probably right. When I said 'lid,' I probably meant the top part. That's the part that's attached with four screws and can be moved along elongated holes.
Where the gas lever used to move a bolt, which, via a spring, would activate the 'mechanical quantity control.'

Hello,
"Have you tried it with the other pump? Did it fit? I'm also looking for a replacement pump and might be able to find a 028 130 115MX (or one that replaces it) at a good price. However, the one that's currently installed is a 028 130 109L, which is replaced by the 115N." So, same game as with you .
Best regards.
