Hello!
My ANY (Lupo 3l) 1.2 TDI is causing me concern:
There is engine oil in the coolant, and the expansion tank is black.
Now the question: Does it necessarily have to be the ZKD (cylinder head gasket)? Or could it also be the oil/water heat exchanger?
Does anyone here know of a similar case?
"There is no water detectable in the oil, and despite the cold weather, no water vapor is visible coming from the exhaust (which is often a sign of a blown head gasket)."
Thank you for your efforts!

It's not impossible that you have a leak in the cooling system. Perform a compression test and pressure test the cooling circuit. If necessary, remove the radiator and pressure test it individually. Otherwise, it's mostly speculation.

Unfortunately, a faulty oil cooler is a relatively common problem with the 3.0L engine.
