EMS in ARL: Benefits and Applications

Where can I get a 240 EMS? Which type of vehicle uses this?
Interresant wäre eine Lösung wie bei den alten tdis 1z z. B. wo Einmassenschwungrad mit gefederter Scheibe eingebaut war. Klar-gibts alles im Satz von Sachs Race oder eventl. auch von spec.. Aber ich möchte mir das schweineteure EMS nicht von den kaufen. HaDoes anyone have a plan?

Hi michi, why don't you try installing it again? So far, I've had positive experiences with EMS and a cushioned washer regarding the noise behavior of the transmission in vehicles with a distributor injection pump and a 5-speed gearbox.
However, since PD engines have higher injection pressure and are therefore subjected to greater stress on the transmission/dual-mass flywheel, I'd like to hear your experiences on this topic.

Gerade wenn man mit ~70 - 80 km/h auf ebener Strecke ohne viel Last dahineiert, fährt man mit ZMS eigentlich im 6. Okay.

With EMS, you constantly experience the shift between the torque of the wheels and the motor's torque, resulting in a constant rattling sound from the transmission.

While idling (e.g., at a traffic light), I also keep the clutch pedal pressed down to avoid the rattling noise.

It's annoying in the long run - and I suspect it's not exactly good for the transmission either.

Then everything will stay as it is, and I'll just install a reinforced pressure plate from SRE.
