VW POLO 6R Kombi Instrument MFA and VAG-COM

Hello community,

A good friend has bought a POLO 6R 1.6 TDI 77 KW. There's the small MFA in there, and he'd prefer the larger one (with current consumption etc.). Given that it's also becoming increasingly important to acquire a CAN-capable interface, the question arises as to whether this task can be solved with VAG-COM (which would then be an incentive for me to buy it).

Now to the actual question: Has anyone ever done this unlocking/re-coding, or does anyone know if it's even possible?
