VW Polo 6R: MFA Instrument & VAG-COM Diagnostics

Hello everyone,

A good friend recently bought a VW Polo 6R 1.6 TDI with 77 kW. It has the smaller MFA (Multifunction Display), and he would like to upgrade to the larger one (with instant fuel consumption, etc.). Since it's also time to get a CAN-compatible interface, the question is whether this upgrade can be done with VAG-COM (which would be an incentive for me to buy one).

Now, to the actual question: Has anyone ever done this unlocking/reprogramming before, or does anyone know if it's even possible?

No chance, WFS etc. are currently only available from the dealer.
