Hello!
I have a few small questions about the DPF.
I previously thought that, in principle, a forced regeneration occurs every xxx kilometers, regardless of the driving profile and the resulting ash content. Is that really the case?
And then I would be interested in the termination conditions. In my measurement blocks, it says the following:
00000010 00000000 Particle filter, field regeneration; Abort conditions: 903.
512 Particle filter field regeneration; Abort conditions 919.
00000000 Particle filter; Field regeneration Requirement status: 921.
0 Particle filter; Field regeneration Requirement status: 929.
00000000 Particle filter; Field regeneration, lock status: 930.
0 Particle filter; Field regeneration, lock status: 938.
649390 m - Particle filter; Kilometers since last regeneration: 939.
26.79 liters of particulate filter material; fuel consumption since last regeneration: 940.
13.68 g particulate filter; calculated soot mass: 943.
44916 - Diesel particulate filter; Time since last regeneration: 945.
That means that, due to the amount of soot, it wasn't ready for regeneration yet; the threshold is significantly higher. However, under the second point [field 919], the termination condition is listed as "512."
What does this value specifically mean? Does anyone have a lookup table?
Thank you for your efforts!

Let's just say that this is how it is with the cars I drive and know about.
Unfortunately, I don't have any information about "512" off the top of my head. SSP?
Best regards, Rainer.

Hmm. Okay. Then at least I understood that correctly
Unfortunately, the terms and conditions of the SSP don't mention anything about cancellation policies (at least not in the sections I looked at – someone might correct me if I'm wrong!). But maybe someone else will have some information on that... Thanks for your reply so far! Audi A3 Sportback [8PA], 2.0 TDI CR [CFGB], STH mit FB

Hello!
I just checked again. Even though it seems to have regenerated, the termination condition remains the same. Here are the current values:
00000010 00000000 Particle filter, field regeneration; Abort conditions: 903.
512 Particle filter field regeneration; Abort conditions 919.
00000000 Particle filter; Field regeneration Requirement status: 921.
0 Particle filter; Field regeneration Requirement status: 929.
00000000 Particle filter; Field regeneration, lock status: 930.
0 Particle filter; Field regeneration, lock status: 938.
241191 m Particle filter; Kilometers since last regeneration: 939.
9.20 liters Particle filter; Fuel consumption since last regeneration: 940.
10.29 g particulate filter; calculated soot mass: 943.
15109 s Particle filter; Time since last regeneration: 945.
Best regards.

Hello,
"Same here with my 170 hp CR engine. It spontaneously starts up every 385 km, and this happens even though I drive about 80 km (twice 40 km) on the highway daily, for a total of around 100 km. And mostly at speeds of 100-120 km/h due to traffic."
A colleague with a 2010 Tiguan 140 hp CR model with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive achieves fuel consumption figures of over 800 km per tank, despite mostly short trips around town. He personally read the data using VCDS.
Is the kilometer-based safety distance programmed with such extreme variations? Gruß

That's what I have. It's a Golf Variant with a 2.0 TDI engine, 140 horsepower, and a DSG transmission.
The regenerative braking will start either at 385km or when the battery is charged to 45%, whichever comes first. Your driving style (frequent or infrequent overtaking) and whether you're driving in the city or on the highway significantly affect how quickly the 45% charge level is reached.
I once experienced a situation where the regeneration process started due to the 45% charge level, but it didn't go down to 0 because of the start/stop function (during a shopping trip), and it stopped at 13%.
And 30 kilometers later, the regeneration process began again, allowing us to reach the 385-kilometer distance.
