Should a car with 115,000 km (approximately 71,000 miles) really be producing this little exhaust smoke?

Is the limit not around 70 grams or so?

The only relevant factor here is the oil ash volume. And 0.15 liters, which is 150 ml, isn't a negligible amount. What does VCDS say when you hover the mouse cursor over that value? The 2.0 CR engines typically have a limit of 175 ml, while the 3.0 engines might have a higher limit.

(1) 0.15 LITERS is not a small amount (I saw the 0. and thought I could ignore it).

(2) Russ isn't just ash, you know.

Other sources state 370 ml.

(would be OK)

I simply can't get used to this newfangled CR stuff .

Then I'll have to see when I can get my hands on that tractor again.

I found it strange that it vibrates noticeably more at idle than our (oil-cooled)-BLS 1.9 TDI.

Chip tuning also affects the filter as well.

As I mentioned, the 175ml value was from the 2.0 CR engine, but the 3.0 engine might allow for significantly more volume. That's why I suggested hovering over the value; VCDS should then display the applicable maximum value.

According to "Instandhaltung genau genommen" (a German maintenance guide), for the A4 model with engine code CCWA, manufactured up to and including May 2011, the specified oil capacity is 370 ml. This should generally apply to the CCWA engine, and possibly also to the A5 model.
