Hi Rainer,
Wouldn't that contradict the "Diesel Technology Guidelines," which state "Please obtain basic knowledge elsewhere"?
And what scope should it have - did you want to start with Adam + Eva, or with electrons, volts, and amperes? |
Yes and no, it depends on whether you start with Adam and Eve or only with Moses

You're right, I have to agree with you.
I was hoping for a brief overview of the various active and passive sensors used in the TDI engine, along with a short description of how they work and/or links to the manufacturers' websites.
It is my opinion that it is impossible to determine from any of the technical articles that, for example, the boost pressure sensor is an active sensor that generates a variable voltage at its output pin depending on the boost pressure.
This is insider knowledge that can only be obtained through the corresponding self-study program or by regularly reading the forum.

As a compromise, I would suggest, at best, a few books or links to resources for learning about electronics - but I have no idea what to call them |

Okay, a good idea for the basics! You should already be familiar with transistors, diodes, ohms, and amperes.
At the beginning of an article about 'TDI sensor/sender technology', I could imagine including a link to introductory literature on electronics/automotive electronics.
Okay, bitte gib mir den deutschen Text, den du übersetzt haben möchtest.
Best regards, Rainer.
