If your auxiliary heater was installed from the factory, it is already integrated into the vehicle's diagnostic system and can be accessed using appropriate diagnostic software, such as VCDS.

If it's an aftermarket solution, it depends on how it was integrated into the vehicle. If the diagnosis of the auxiliary heater is performed via the K-line, it can be connected to pin 15 of the diagnostic connector (L-line or K2-line).

Depending on the control unit version, the auxiliary heating control unit can be accessed either via the K-Line and VW protocols, or using the Webasto diagnostic software.
