Hello.
Since I don't have MFA (Multifunction Display), I would like to know how to calculate the fuel consumption (in liters/100km) using VAG-COM on my car.
In the MWB 15, it is only specified in liters per hour or milligrams per cycle.
Best regards,

Hi,
Log measurement blocks 6 and 15 from the engine control unit, then import them into OpenOffice.
Consumption in liters / 100km = Liters / hour * (100 / Speed in km/h)
Best regards, Rainer.

Hello.
Sure, here's the translation:
"Thanks in advance. But is there a program that can read the speed and fuel injection amount and calculate the fuel consumption based on that?"
Best regards,

Here it is:
Save the 'Plugins' configuration in the VAG-COM/VCDS RKS distribution. Then, select measurement blocks 6 & 15 in the engine control unit for a TDI engine, and click on 'Plugins' -> 'KFuel'.
Does anyone need this?
Best regards, Rainer.

Updated KFuel now displays real-time fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, fuel used, and distance traveled.
KFuel is now part of the VCDS-RKS distribution.
Best regards, Rainer.

Hello everyone,
Is the kfuel feature no longer available in the current VCDS version (16.8.4)?
On version 15, I still have a "plugin" folder containing kfuel, but I can't find anything related to it in the interface under the measurement blocks.

Hi,
KFuel is based on a different plugin interface. Because the VCDS installation package is not created by me, but by Ross-Tech, and this creates a constant source of dependencies, leading to time consumption and undesirable issues, things have been strictly separated.
That's why KPower and KDataScope now exist as separate setups.
If you have an older installation, you can replace the VCScope file in the VCDS installation directory with the one from the older installation (note that this is not actually VCScope, but rather implements the API it uses), along with the plugin folder, and replace the rest with the new files in a current installation.
If you'd like to test something specific with KFuel, that's fine, but I wouldn't want that for every update. And most current cars already have the functions that KFuel offers built into their onboard computer (FIS).
Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,
Thank you for the response.
Okay, I'll go ahead and install an old VCScope. I want to check if my custom-built onboard computer in the Polo 9n is correctly measuring the values.
Best regards from Nuremberg.
Werner.

I've highlighted the following files/folders to be copied from an old VCDS installation.
