2.0 TDI starts and then immediately shuts down....

Now, regarding my problem.
It all started about 2 months ago. Vehicle was parked overnight, started successfully, but immediately shut off after about 2-3 seconds.
I restarted it again, and everything was normal. There was no performance loss or excessive smoking.
Currently, the problem has worsened. Must start it approximately 10-20 times before it starts running.

Then, I took the car to an independent garage that read the fault codes. Here, it was discovered that the DPF differential pressure sensor was defective.
Otherwise, there were no errors in the engine control unit.
The sensor has now been replaced. However, the problem still persists. Please close the pre-heating system. Immer wieder, the key fob malfunction is identified as the root cause of the problem.
The funny thing is, once he starts running, you don't have to worry about anything for the rest of the day.

I suspect there is air in the fuel system. I will perform a pressure drop test on the auxiliary pump and look for any leaks in the fuel lines, filter, etc.

Try using the spare key anyway to see if the same behavior occurs. It is possible that the transponder in your key is damaged.

a) Is it a PD or a CR engine? Both are possible depending on the year of manufacture and the performance.

I've experienced something similar with a VW before. The 10A brake light fuse was defective. It sounds ridiculous, but that's exactly what happened. Also, a faulty brake light switch could also be the cause. When it comes to this, VW Group cars are definitely leading the way.
