Audi V8 D11: Diagnosis Not Possible

Hello, after MANY years, I'm back. I'm having trouble getting my VCDS to connect to my classic car. Is there anything I can optimize in the system settings, perhaps regarding baud rate or other parameters?

Vehicle: Audi V8 D11 3.6, manufactured in 1989.

The vehicle has two OBD-II connectors located in the passenger footwell. The strange thing is, I used to be able to access the ABS system, but now nothing works.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to gain access to the engine control unit (ECU)?

"With my Bosch ESItronic workshop software, I can access everything, so I suspect there's a configuration issue."

Maybe someone among you has some good ideas.

It's possible that the quartz crystals in the control units and the diagnostic cable have drifted out of sync.

What kind of diagnostic system do you have?

Take a look at the connection setup in the upper left corner of the control unit information window. You should also be able to see the bitrate there.

Given the vehicle's production year, accessing the Modular Stereo System (MSG) with VCDS (Volkswagen Diagnostic System) was likely not yet possible, so the only option would have been to manually disable it.
What color are the connectors (in the photo)?
