K-Line Missing on Instrument Panel?

Hello.

On my Audi A6 TDI, model year 95, C4 AAT, I can communicate with cluster 17 using the VAG-COM software, but unfortunately, I cannot perform a 'service interval reset'.
In another forum, I read that someone retrofitted the K-line from the 2x2 connector in the engine compartment to the 'green connector' on the back of the instrument cluster.

Questions:
How can I determine if the K-line is present at/in the 'green connector'?
Which 'chamber number' in the 'green connector' is responsible for that?
