Hello,
The problem was:
low performance, high fuel consumption, negative error code in the control unit.
Cause: Although Mazda was reluctant to believe that the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor was the cause, the individual measurement clearly showed that the MAF sensor readings were completely outside of the specified values.
Result: New engine (LMM), now great performance and fuel consumption back under 6 liters, awesome!!!!!!!
Just a heads-up for everyone who's being told: 'The error analysis in the engine control unit (ECU) showed nothing, so it can't be the mass airflow sensor (MAF).' It still could be the MAF!
Mazda only believed me after I protested, and I visited two different Mazda workshops.
It's important to acknowledge that the LMM likely rarely causes problems, and this was probably a novel experience for them.
Thank you again for all the contributions. icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif
Greetings.
Rob's.

Hi Robs,

First of all, I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the car again and that everything is okay.

Sometimes, you just have to remain persistent - even if it's difficult. icon_confused.gif

What type of LMM (Mass Air Flow Sensor) is installed in the Mazda?

Hi Bertil,
I will check the exact model number again and then post it.
The great thing is that, despite the perceived 'incompetence,' Mazda covers the cost of replacing this part due to the long warranty. I was even worried it might be considered a 'wear and tear' item, so I don't know the price or anything else about it.
See you soon, and greetings from Stuttgart.
