VAG-Com Adapter: Full Version, No Reset Mode

Hello,
'I soldered the 2.4 adapter here from this forum some time ago. It worked quite well with my VAG-COM and my car (Passat 35i).'
Following that, I have now unlocked the full version 301.1 to upgrade the GRA (presumably referring to a specific feature or component) and other things.
This unlocking process worked perfectly.
However, I am unable to access the basic settings mode (04) in the engine control unit!
There are no error messages or anything like that. The preheating light is not flashing.
What could be the reason for that?

If all other functions are working smoothly (meaning the connection between the PC, adapter, and vehicle is stable), then there's likely a problem with the unlocking process -> you should complain to the software provider!

it looks more like a software salesperson! If it's not a software sales issue, complain to the relevant department!

If I contact Ross-Tech, the first question they will ask is what kind of adapter I have. They will definitely blame it on the homemade adapter.

So, what else could it be if VAG-COM is reading everything correctly?

As I mentioned, unlocking the GRA was not a problem.

* Is the activation real, or was it generated by some kind of 'hack'?

Which version of VAG-COM is being used?

* What exactly happens when you click the 'reset to default' button?

Version 301.1 is at the top!

nothing, no error messages from the computer, no crashes, no access denied!

If the activation is not working properly, then something has gone wrong. In this case, please send me an email with your full name and other details (where you obtained the activation, invoice number or license number), and we will definitely resolve the issue.

However, if the unlocking was achieved through a hack, they have no grounds for a lawsuit. The 'default settings' function is only available in the full version.
