Hi.

Since I got my diagnostic interface, more and more questions have been coming up.

Last Sunday, I drove 150 km "under observation," from Kaiserslautern to Bitburg (which also included some hills).

Here's the result:
http://www.luxus-wg.de/~martin/auto_bilder/LOG-01-007-003-011.zip

The temperature of the water never exceeds 83 degrees Celsius. However, I've often read that "the vehicle should be at operating temperature, with water temperatures above 85 degrees."

I'll never be able to do it.

Does this indicate a faulty thermostat?

"There are no more errors in the memory. I deleted the '01117 Terminal DF implausible' error message, and it hasn't reappeared so far."

Thank you for the tips.
Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.

It depends on what type of thermostat is installed. In my opinion, there were/are some that go up to 83 degrees Celsius and others up to 87 degrees Celsius for coolant temperature. Also, the tolerance of the temperature sensor might play a role. I haven't looked at the log, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. A faulty thermostat would usually result in temperatures significantly below 80 degrees!

but it's quite possible...

But in this case, the difference was greater...

aber hier war halt die differenz größer ...

What did I write above? I myself have a damaged thermostat. And as I said, the temperature was clearly below 80 degrees!
