Which oil?

I've just browsed through the forum and also looked at the article about oil approvals. Does this mean, in plain terms, that only these 4 types are approved?

My parents own an Audi A4 1.9 TDI (66 kW) manufactured in July 1997, and it's time for an oil change.
What can and cannot be put in there?

My Stilo JTD (CommonRail) with 115 horsepower runs on Mobil 5W40 full synthetic oil. Does it have to be 0W30 for the TDI engine?

Please refer to your car's owner's manual to see which standards the oil must meet.
Then, check your oil bottle to see if it meets the corresponding standard, for example, VW 50500 (chosen arbitrarily as an example).
The viscosity of your oil, such as 0W30, has nothing to do with the oil quality.
