AEL Injectors: Replacement & Performance Parts

Hello,
Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything using the search function.
I need to replace the nozzles on my AEL. Are there larger sizes available for this type?
Does anyone know of a cheap source?
At Bosch, they want €1200 for it .
I already inquired with Dieselsend, but I haven't received a response yet.

I would check auction houses in your place; I've often seen brand new AEL nozzle sets there for around €350!

I would advise against installing larger injectors in your engine, as the AEL is already close to the smoke limit! I think that with larger injectors alone, without adjusting the LD (lambda) or retarding the injection timing, it would likely produce excessive smoke.

Otherwise, those from the 150hp 2.5 TDI engine from the T4 should fit! (The combustion chamber of the pistons is the same?!?!)

They told me at Bosch that the injectors are probably faulty, considering I have almost 240,000 km on the car. I've already looked on eBay, but there's nothing suitable available right now.

I'm having issues with my AAT, although it has different injectors, the problem is the same. After a lot of searching and driving around, I found a parts supplier who offers replacement injectors. Interestingly, they also have the Bosch brand on them. According to online forums, Audi/VW also offer replacement injectors. The complete set cost me 555 euros. AEL injectors should actually be more expensive because the holes are rounded in a more complex way.

Here in Austria, the 'standard' nozzles for the AAT cost about €90, and the nozzles with NHG (low-pressure stage) cost about €120, which would total approximately €480 (from authorized dealers)! Also, could you briefly describe how faulty nozzles manifest themselves (e.g., misfiring)? I'm really interested!

Why did you have to search for nozzles? We can find them for the AAT and AEL engines at any Bosch service center and all VW/Audi dealerships (and they're even the same price there)! I think the AEL nozzles cost about the same.

By the way, I've been thinking about getting bigger injectors for my AAT, but nobody seems to know if it will actually work!

I went to the friendly store yesterday, and they quoted me €670 for an exchange.
Does anyone know of any online dealers who offer something similar at a more affordable price?
