Hello everyone,
FHere's what I have:
Pins 24, 30, 45, and 48 on the MSG are inputs for the GRA switch. Additionally, a cable from fuse 64 is required.
Okay, let me guess: the cable from the fuse has 12V when the ignition is on, and it needs to be connected to the individual inputs.
Which pin/combination does what?
'GRA', 'Aufnehmen', and 'Fix' are the functions that need to be switched. Could someone briefly provide the pin assignments or a suitable circuit diagram?
Best regards and thank you.
Kai.

Hello,
I'd also be interested in that.
Does anyone know here?
Best regards.

At the end of this article, you can see a picture of the GRA switch.

Thanks, but I don't think that's the right one.
I want to install just one button in my AEL unit, for turning it on and maintaining a constant speed. Does anyone know which pins of the control unit I need to connect it to?
Best regards.
Martin.

sat24 wanted the wiring diagram for the GRA lever, and it's the same for many Audi models.
After you wrote that you were also interested, I posted it.
If you need a wiring diagram for the control unit, I suggest you go to VAG and have them make a copy for you! However, these diagrams don't include the "On-Off-On-Off" labeling, which is why you need the diagram I mentioned earlier.
You have to tell me what you want .
You won't be able to solve this with just a button. You'll need at least one more switch. 1993 Audi 80 B4 1Z

Hello,
I had actually given up hope, but since something is happening here after all, I decided to search again.
A single switch (button) for the 'Set' function should be sufficient. I also found a circuit diagram.
http://www.24max.de/audi-documents/TDI_STG/A6_C4_MJ95_003.pdf Page 6
I would suggest connecting pins 24 and 30 on the MSG (possibly with 12V [Kl15/Pin 55], I'm not sure where the '39' comes from in the wiring diagram; fuse 64 was mentioned by Mecki) and connecting a button to pin 48. If you still need the 'Record' function, you can add another button connected to pin 45 in parallel. It seems like no one needs the 'Off' function.
Can someone confirm this and explain where connection point 5 on the original switch should be connected?
Regards,
sat24

Hi,
So, just connect pin 24 to pin 30, and connect pin 48 to fuse 64 (12V +) via a button, or connect pin 48 to pin 24 + 30 via a button?
Have you tried Sat24 yet?
Regards,
Martin.

Nö, hab ich nicht probiert. Ich habe nur das geschrieben was ich aus dem Schaltplan lesen kann. According to the circuit diagram:
XXX ---+
Pin24 --+
Pin30 --+
/
|-- /
|
Pin48 --+
'XXX is likely 12V. When it gets warmer again, I'll go back to the car and test it.'
