Hello.
I'd be interested to know how you store your diagnostic adapter when it's not in use.
In a special suitcase? Or how?
I plan to build a diagnostic case with an integrated printer.
Has anyone built something like this before? Does anyone have pictures of such a suitcase?
Best regards,

Okay, so my adapter is stored in the rear center armrest.
The suitcase containing the expensive items is in the workshop, where there's currently space, or in the storage room for small items.
I would limit the amount of mechanical equipment in the workshop to an absolute minimum; instead, I'd prefer to use a very old PC connected to the office network for printing.
Laptops aren't really suitable for a workshop environment either... they tend to get damaged easily.
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

Okay. So, I currently have my laptop in a laptop bag and the diagnostic adapter in a plastic bag, but I don't think that's a long-term solution.
Best regards,

Hi,
My laptop is in a laptop bag that is large enough to either fit a "standard" 3 kg laptop or the small Thinkpad (1.3 kg) along with all its accessories, including the diagnostic cable.
Most of the time, the diagnostic cable is lying on the windowsill, along with various mobile phone chargers .

In a small, cute plastic box, pictures will follow as soon as my digital camera returns from vacation .
