Power Steering Pump & Serpentine Belt for 1Z

Hi.

Context: 1Z model with servo, without air conditioning.

Can someone briefly explain how to remove the Serpentine belt so I can replace the ribbed belt?

Do I need to swing the pump with an attached lever, or does it have some kind of adjustment?

Or is the distance even fixed, meaning I have to remove the pulley?

is actually not a big deal. However, I can't describe it very well with words .
There's a kind of mechanism there that works like a cogwheel railway. You also have to adjust the belt tension after working with it. But first, you need to loosen some screws on the power steering pump so you can move it... Take a good look at it; it's actually quite self-explanatory. The pulley can definitely stay in place.

I can only agree with that.
According to my book, there are 3 screws to loosen, but in reality, there are more!
