Hello,
'I'm talking about a used engine control unit (ECU) from a Skoda Octavia with an ASV engine, which I'm considering buying as...'
I would like to add to my savings and have two questions about it.
Bosch part number: 0281 010 380.
VW Part No.: 038 906 012 CL
What is the difference between EDC15 and EDC15VM+?
'I read on the Bosch eCat that there are Octavia models without an OBD port.'
Is the car not OBD-compatible, or is it the control unit (ECU)?
Or, to put it another way, is the aforementioned ECU (Engine Control Unit) OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) compliant?
Thank you.

Hello,
Okay, I bought it and found out that it has (or had) a WFS Immo 3 system.
My old one has Immo 2.
That answers my second question, but now a new one arises.
What options are available to customize this STG (Steuergerät/control unit) for use with Immo2?
Do I need to go to the customer service representative and ask for the secret number?
I've changed the title.
Well, I probably bought it too quickly; it can't be adjusted.
Will a new post be created for 'For Sale'?
