Ich fahre wieder mit dem orginal LMM.

Beim Dioden Test haben ich am LMM nichts geandert, der bliebt einfach elektrisch tot aber mechanisch vorhanden.

Die 847 mg/H sind das absolute Maximum, hast du das auch bei allen Drehzahlen ?

Bei mir faellt der Wert ab 3000 U/min deutlich ab und die Einspritzmenge wird zureuckgenommen (Spalte K ist das Minimum)

While testing with the diode the airflow sensor stayed untouched in place, it just had no electrical connection.

847 mg/h is the maximum you can get. But do you have this value for all engine speeds

My actual value decreases over 3000 rpm and the injected qualtity is reduced. (column K is the minimum)

What a realy want to now if you put the diode in place did you removed the LMM completly?
And put some other tube instaed. ( beter airflow i think..)
Is it a option to remove the snowscreen from the LMM (again beter airflow..)

But i want to try to get more air in the engine.
Maybe bigger airinlet (RAM-air)
Mine MAF actual is 847.9 constantly from @1600 rpm till @3700 rpm.
What i understand is this the max. value for the ECU?

Der EDC is only build for a max. of 847 mg/R.

I did and will not remove the sensor - the car has to look like an ordinary one

If your powerbox demands more air, you should try to patch the manifold pressure sensor (like 10 cant tuning) to sent the specified pressure about 0.1 bar higher.

But don't try this without a boost gauge !

So it`s not realy necesary for me at this time to cutout the LMM and foul the ECU with a diode.
As i say mine MAF actual is 847.9 that`s like new i think.....(it`s 7 years old now)
And what about removing the snowscreen....
I dont now anybody with expierience to patch the manifold pressure sensor..
Is there some info on this site i will use suche in a minute

I'am running around with the idea of taking the map sensor signal and put it on the output pin of the maf.

The Idea is that the injected quantity will be reduced when the pressure fails..so it will be a littele more safe as with the diode... only

I dont no if anyone tryed this already an how the singnals compare...

And my Car looks like an ordinary one under the hood...

Exept for the fully removed EGR system ..

If your EDC now runs with a max. of 847, you will not be able to "set" is higher in any way.

If you know someone with an AHU and 980 mg, please check his maximum injected quantity - I thimk hiy EDC will not inject more than yours - otherwise he will not have an normal 90 PS machine (more Diesel -> more Power).

I know the AFN was build with Pierburg and later with BOSCH air flow sensors, maybe the different values (not up to 1250 mg/R) result from this change.

Don't worry about the 847 value, if you use a box, the value is of no interest, cos' your box will change the inj. qty. anyway

I don't know, if removing the screen takes any (positive) effect on the real air flow.

Did you close your EGR (exhaust Gas recirculation - deutsch Abgas Rueck Fuehrung) ?

If not, this would be a much more effective way to get a little more power (or spontaneity) - how to do this is described in german in many threads here.

Thnx for your reply.. Mine EGR is closed and even the KAT is empty.
If I had a spare LMM i will try it, but if you once removed the snowscreen on a LMM like mine it`s difficult to put it back again.
I hoped some one as expirience with it on a AHU
As you can see on the pic of Luc`s LMM his snowscreen is removed and he is positive about it.
But he has another type of LMM (bosch) and engine (AFN)
