Important ist, how big they are (I thougt 2-3mm is the max). A few small bubbles should be no problem for the VP44. Aktuell:
- Sharan Goal '04 V(R)6 2.8 150 kW, ab 09.08.2007 mit Vialle LPI, MKB: AYL
- G3 VR6 '93 128 kW, MKB: AAA
Bis 07/2007: Passat Variant 3BG '01 2.5TDI 110 kW, MKB: AKN
Bis 03/2004: Audi A3 '00 1.9 TDi 96 kW, (MKB: ASZ?) |

Hi
I finally got to check kompression and it was 31-27-31-31-24-15 bar. I tore down 4-5-6 cylinder head and found a broken exhaust valve in cylinder no 6. The valve had a hole towars the middle right through the valve plate. I also disassembled 1-2-3 cylinder head, luckily because cylinder 2 had a broken exhaust valve also? Besides this i will also renew all 4 cam shafts and do a complete fix-up of both cylinder heads. BUT, is the valves on these engines a standard error? Should I replace all 24 valves? I have an experienced diesel mechanic helping me and he has never seen anything like this in a new engine, one valve shot that could happen, but 2?? Please help me out here??
