Hello Diesel Mechanic Community,

After years of inactivity, I've decided to register on the forum again.

My diesel vehicle is a '96 VW T4 California with a 2.5 TDI engine (engine code: ACV) that occasionally gives me some trouble. My winter car is a BMW 520i E34 that I inherited.

"In my professional life, I work for a large automotive manufacturer and am responsible for applications related to the Otto-OBD system. Unfortunately, this is also my problem here: I don't have a VCDS license, so I can't post anything using it. It's a shame because when it comes to questions about the Otto system that delve into the details of engine control, I could certainly participate in discussions on an equal footing, especially with Conti projects."

If you own a German-language VCDS or are a customer of our shop, you don't need this.
