Hello!

I've been addicted to TDI for 3 years!
Without 15,000 km.
With 50,000 km.
-0.5 liters
SERIES: 124.4 hp, 374 Nm.

WITH TUNING: approximately 150-160 horsepower, 400 Nm of torque.

Failure: The LLK (likely referring to a heat accumulator or similar component) burst at 1.5 bar pressure after 7 months. It has now been replaced with a new one made of aluminum alloy G60.
Vmax Series: 215, 5-speed.
Vmax Chip: 230, 5-speed.

JUST Quickly, quickly, quickly! icon_lol.gif

Best regards,
Mirco

I've owned a diesel car for 2 and a half years.

TDI for 5 months: AFN Corrado.
Without tuning, 1,000 kilometers.
So far, with tuning: 19,000 km.

Estimated power output: ~150 horsepower - unfortunately, we haven't had a chance to test it on a dynamometer yet.

GOLF IV 96kw TDI-PD:

0 KM - 2400 KM: No changes - Standard configuration.
From 2400 km - today: with chip tuning, approximately 110 kW of power (96 kW - standard).

flawless (mileage today: 9000)

Data:
- According to the speedometer, 225-230 km/h in 6th gear at approximately 4000 RPM.
- Average fuel consumption (excluding highways): 5-5.7 liters/100 km.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW REQUEST OPTION IN MY...
LOCATION (Near ERFURT, Thuringia!) ???

What is the cost of such a test?

Passat 3B5 (2000) 2.5 TDI V6 4-motion.
AFB 150 hp --> 180 hp

Without tuning: 58,000 km.
with tuning: 32,100 km. Now it probably has an engine problem - great.

1.9TDI AFN, chipped to 140PS and 305Nm, with 213,000km on the clock so far, without any problems!

Only the catalytic converter needed to be replaced at 90,000 km!

Regards,

Manuel.

Engine AJM, 85 kW -> approximately 111 kW.
5,000 km without any modifications (break-in period), then...
with tuning, 60,710 km, and a hole in the piston... icon_mad.gif

The new engine has been running perfectly for 53,000 km, but it's also still original.
Next month, it will be converted to an ARL engine with its original 150 hp / 110 kW. icon_biggrin.gif

Hello everyone!

Volkswagen Golf III TDI GTI, year of manufacture 1997, 81 kW, 235 Nm.
172,000 km total.
120,000 km with an open K&N air filter.
80,000 km with a WKR chip: good 110 kW and approximately 350 Nm.

This results in consumption values ranging from as low as 4.2 liters for commuting to work at a moderate speed (highway), to a maximum of 8.2 liters for a faster vacation trip with bicycles on the roof rack!!! icon_smile.gif
Even when driving at a brisk pace on the Nordschleife, I'm not getting anywhere near 8 liters per 100 kilometers! Awesome!
Treatment with oil additives and, occasionally, fuel additives.

The car runs without any problems/defects, except that the EGR valve seems to be somehow leaking, and you can see its combustion principle in action under full load. icon_wink.gif

Regards,
Michael.

Volkswagen Golf 3.
Manufactured in December 1995 (which corresponds to the model year 1996).

1Z
140,000 km
20,000 km, of which I drove some.

He's probably too old for chip tuning.

Recently, the catalytic converter was replaced due to a flexible pipe. icon_evil.gif

Hi Martin,

... He's probably too old for chip tuning.

why?

It really depends on the condition of the engine and how you drive icon_twisted.gif.

Best regards, Rudi.

p.s. it should have an MSA15 with a 021BF inside icon_exclaim.gif icon_question.gif.

Hmm, I've taken the engine control unit (ECU) out three times already, but I've never actually looked at it.

Let me browse through my photos.

Here are 2 phantom images:

No, unfortunately, it's one of the last MSA12 models (probably the 021AF). Already equipped with an immobilizer and...
'Large' pressure sensor (2.5 bar).
The control unit number is also displayed by VAG-COM (directly in the...).
Start message after dialing '01').

Best regards, Rudi.

And what does the difference tell me?

What more can the MSA15 do?

The number on the control unit (STG) is printed on the outside, but it's obscured in the photo.
I was planning to open the water tank again anyway, so I can take a look.

Seat Cordoba Vario, year 1998, engine code AFN.

95,000 km, of which approximately 30,000 km were driven by myself.

'Since 25,000 km, I've had a boost pressure increase (1.15 bar) and a K&N filter installed. Now I'm experiencing EGR system failures.'

For approximately 10,000 km, I've been using a BOX (www.speed-buster.de).

- No problems.

(Except with some smoke... icon_eek.gif ...and occasionally long faces... icon_razz.gif)

Regards,
Michl.

purchased with 120,000 miles; injectors replaced as a precaution.
140 horsepower chip installed (damn soldering!).
ESP adjusted to icon_smile_thumb_up.gif5% injection quantity. Boost pressure: approximately 1.2 bar.

As of today, the mileage is 160,000 km - the engine is in excellent condition. Turbo too.

Let's just forget about the timing belt, tensioner, and idler pulleys for now.

Oh yeah, the AGR (selective catalytic reduction) system is somehow broken, but the catalytic converter is fine - it's in the basement.

Volkswagen Golf 3 Variant, 1.4L engine, manufactured in June 1996.
Total mileage: 330,000 km. Tuned mileage: 211,000 km (using a PSI Box).
66 kW - BOX 80 kW
With biodiesel, I drove 60,000 km without any problems.
At approximately 120,000 km, the fuel pump needed to be resealed due to a switch to conventional fuel.
Performance is the same with diesel or biodiesel.
Top speed: 190 km/h.
LMM not yet replaced/frequently cleaned, exhaust not original.
K&N air filters.
R 109 changed twice.
Control unit replaced twice / Due to interruption after the positive terminal / Twice under warranty.

Fuel consumption: 5.5 liters of diesel or biofuel.
Oil consumption: 1.5 liters per 15,000 kilometers.
Fuel injectors replaced at 127,000 km due to particulate filter (DPF) regeneration, adjusted to 210 bar.
Jarek.
