Document A2 8Z0 MJ 2002, HVAC failure (Solution)

Failure of central locking system, remote control, interior lighting, electric tailgate lock, and footwell lighting.

Cause:
The cause is a faulty capacitor in the central comfort electronics control unit. This prevents power from being supplied to the control unit.
The error code "01330 - No communication with comfort system control unit (J393)" is stored in the fault memory.

Solution:
Spare part.
The control unit for the central comfort electronics is located in the front footwell on the left side.
