Hello everyone,
"On my Golf IV, manufactured in 2000, with an ALH engine, I've been experiencing a problem where the ESP light sometimes illuminates after starting the engine (the ESP and ASR then stop working, but the ABS still functions). If I turn off the engine and restart it, the light normally goes out. When I scanned the error memory, it indicated a fault with the brake pressure sensor (N247). As a result, I had the brake booster replaced, but the problem persists."
Can anyone give me a tip as to what might be causing this?
Thank you in advance!

What exactly is the error?
Perhaps there's a loose connection in a cable connected to that sensor.

The error is indicated on the log with the code 00814 035, which refers to the magnetic coil for brake pressure - N247. In my workshop (an independent automotive repair shop), they suggested replacing the entire control unit, but I'm not entirely convinced, as it otherwise functions perfectly; for example, it works without any issues after a restart.
