Hello!

Can someone please recommend a large turbocharger designed for diesel engines, but that is not a variable geometry turbocharger (VTG)?

Ist es der T3-Lader? GT2056?

I need something bigger for my AEL.

You should check the 'NFZ' section. There are some big items there.
Basically, you can also use gasoline turbochargers.

How many horsepower do you want to achieve?
Holset turbochargers have proven to be a reliable and cost-effective option for performance upgrades.

Best regards, Rodion.

'Thank you!'
I was aiming for around 200-220 horsepower. I'm using 0.232 injectors and an AAN flywheel.

Thanks for the tip, I'll take a look!

And you want to leave the booster piston like that?

A nice 320cdi Jäger icon_cool.gif will be a beast if you push it past 220 horsepower.

And you want to leave the support piston like that?

A nice 320cdi hunter icon_cool.gif If you exceed 220 horsepower.

The installed 11mm piston is supposedly sufficient for 0.232mm injectors, but it will be tight.

If necessary, I already have a source that offers a 12V power supply for the pump. However, I'm not really keen on using the larger piston because then it becomes difficult to fine-tune the settings on the chip, as the flow rate would have to be reduced significantly.

I just need a suitable turbocharger now; does anyone have any recommendations?
It should have an absolute pressure of around 2.8 to 3.0 bar.

I don't quite understand how the Holset chargers work.
It doesn't necessarily have to be a new tire; I'd rather have an old one rebalanced.

So, you want to increase the performance by 50%.
I would go with the 12-inch piston.
The older 5-cylinder TDIs were known to have relatively fragile cylinder heads and other components.
If you then start using long injection times...

Regarding the turbocharger: The Holset HX35 should work well for you.
It's more commonly found than the smaller HX30.

Holset has an advantage:
They use stainless steel for almost everything.
That's why it's indestructible.

Best regards, Rodion.
