AFN Conversion: Turbocharger Boost Tap?

Hello everyone,

I'm having the following problem with my car (a Vento TDI).
The car received an AFN engine (previously had a 1Z), but it's still from the previous owner.
Okay, the problem is that the turbocharger stops working at 3000 RPM until it restarts. I've researched this in many forums, and it seems there's a hose that runs from the control unit to the engine. The hose is connected to the control unit, but it's just hanging loose in the engine compartment. Where does this hose need to be connected?

Can anyone help me with that? That would be great.

Hi,

"On my G3 AFN, it was attached to the plastic intake pipe, roughly above the gearbox. There's a nipple there for the hose to connect to."

In your case, when converting from a 1Z to an AFN engine, things might look different...
