Audi A6 4B: Faulty TV Tuner - Repair Guide (Solution)

TV system failure.

Cause:
Since the beginning of May 2001, a new TV tuner has been installed. This TV tuner no longer has RCA (Chinch) jacks or an S-VHS connection. Instead, it features a 54-pin connector that integrates these connections. Due to a software error in the new TV tuner, the television function is not working.



Solution:
Install a TV tuner with new software, firmware version H04/S 05 04.
The software version is visible on the data label attached to the TV tuner.
