I'm planning to buy an A6 Avant 4B, model year >03. Since I'm not interested in the 6-cylinder TDI engines for various reasons, I'll be looking for a 130 hp TDI model with a Multitronic transmission.
Does anyone have any experience with this combination, or with Multitronic and chip tuning in general?
I definitely wouldn't recommend exceeding 350 Nm on the Multitronic transmission. The AVF engine already had a similar torque output in its standard configuration (310 Nm).
It's best not to tune the Multironic at all, because it often destroys itself with its standard power output. I would advise against buying it! It's better to buy one with a proper automatic transmission. I think many people agree with me.

Unfortunately, the 130 hp engine does not have a Tiptronic option. According to the Audi website, Tiptronic is only available with the 6-cylinder TDI engines.
Then I guess I'll have to get a switch.
