I have here an interesting "before-and-after log" of a...
Volkswagen Golf IV 1.9 TDI, standard version with 110 horsepower, including performance chart.

The power output was measured before (approximately 114 hp) and after (approximately 140 hp) using the MWB6 and MWB8 devices.

Nach Tuning wird Einspritzmenge nur durch Luft begrenzt. Is that alright?

Yes, that's a way to do it.
There are always multiple ways to get to Rome...

Personally, I like the regulation regarding the LM, but opinions on this matter are quite divided.

The advantage is a direct control over the amount of air being drawn in, rather than 'controlling' it through torque limitation. ('controlling' because, as long as there's sufficient airflow, only the amounts that are limited by the torque limiter are injected, without considering any other regulating factors).

The disadvantage is the direct correlation between the quality of the LMM (aging) and engine performance.
Especially in the higher RPM ranges, it's easy to lose a bit of horsepower here and there.
It becomes problematic if you replace the LMM (lambda sensor) with a diode. In your specific case, if the lambda/hub ratio doesn't decrease at high speeds, more fuel will enter the combustion chambers, which could lead to increased power, but also significant carbon buildup.

What about the power and torque output? Assuming the measurements are accurate... Is this still within acceptable limits for the engine/drive components, or is it already a bit too much?

Hi,

a) When trying to open the log file with OpenOffice, a message appears indicating that it is password-protected.
b) It's unlikely that the tuning was done by me, because I certainly wouldn't do an AFN (Air Fuel Nitrogen) tune where the fuel injection amount is limited based on air mass. Reason: see the disadvantages that Jochen mentioned.
