I had my mass airflow sensor (MAF sensor) replaced because it was causing the throttle to close automatically in 5th gear at 3200 RPM. According to VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group), the MAF sensor was defective and has now been replaced. However, today on the highway, the acceleration is definitely better than before, but the throttle is again closing automatically, although only at 4000 RPM. What should I do? Well, I'll have to take it back to VAG again, but what else could be broken?
Regards,

Hello,

Did the workshop read the error codes and perform a test drive?
If so, do you have the records?
If you happen to be there again, please make sure to refer to the aforementioned protocols before carrying out any exchange.
Tschüss

It was the connector to the mass airflow sensor (MAF). Apparently, it wasn't properly clipped in. Well, it's working again now. The power feels subjectively better than before, and the top speed is just under 200 km/h without the power box, so everything seems okay. So, here's another question: Does a power box affect the lifespan of a MAF sensor?

So nun noch eine Frage.....wirkt sich eine Powerbox auf die Lebensdauer eines LMM aus?
