Ibiza AFN 331TKM Mileage: Small, but clearly visible white/grey smoke cloud after starting!
Since the mileage of 317TKM, I had problems with the fuel pump, likely a defective fuel injector, followed by a stuck quantity control valve. After that, I completely replaced the pump! The timing belt was also replaced here!
Since then, I've been dealing with the issue of smoke and suspected a cylinder head defect due to excessive valve pressure caused by an incorrectly timed fuel injector (faulty fuel injector control). The cylinder head gasket was replaced and the head was inspected, but nothing unusual was found! The vehicle starts perfectly, but there is a loss of power and coolant loss, which cannot be determined! The valve timing and fuel injection start are normal and have not changed since. Nozzles are less than 40TKM old and have been inspected, optimally at 190 bar!
What else could this smoke cloud be causing? Unfortunately, I'm at a loss. Yesterday, I checked the fuel injection amount again with VAG com, and it showed 7.6mg at startup, which decreased to 6.8mg within 3 minutes. Does anyone have reference values from AFN? Or do you think this could be the cause??? The value seems quite high to me?! RSW is at 0.720 V in the off state.
