My car won't start!

Vielleicht könnt ihr mir helfen. The following problem:
My Golf 3 SDI won't start. I called a friend who said it's probably the relay 109. I tried to find this relay, but it's simply not there in the engine compartment. I couldn't find it even under the plastic engine cover. Can you tell me where I can find it? I don't want to waste money at the VAG mechanic.

Take a look at the central electrical panel, above the circuit breakers .

...and please use the search function within the forum. These issues have been discussed multiple times before...
