Doku Sharan 7M8: Reduced Steering Assist (Solution)

Reduced power steering assist.

Cause.
Water ingress between the longitudinal member on the right side and the soundproofing tray causes the ribbed V-belt for the power steering pump to slip.

Solution:
1. Check the V-belt and replace it if necessary.
(a worn-out V-belt can contribute to slippage).
2. Check if the towing eye cover is installed in the front; if not, install it.
3. Check if the ribbed belt is slipping due to water ingress between the soundproofing pan and the longitudinal member. If this is the case, please replace the soundproofing pan.
