MKB ANU Engine Noises: Documentary (Solution)

Engine noises similar to a timing belt on the MKB or ANU engine.

Cause:
Noises are generated in the preheating valve (diesel filter element) and transmitted through the fuel return line into the vehicle's interior.

Solution:
To investigate the sound transmission, the steel return line at the filter needs to be shortened. Cut out a section of the pipe measuring 70 mm in length and replace it with a fuel hose.

Fuel hose No. N 103 035 01, length 180 mm.
Spring clip, type no. N 102 922 01 x 3.
