Motor noises similar to a timing belt at MKB ANU

Cause
Noises are generated in the pre-heating valve (diesel filter element) and are then transmitted through the fuel return line to the vehicle interior.

Solution:
To investigate sound transmission, the steel return line at the filter must be cut. Cut out the 70 mm section and replace it with a fuel hose.
