The problem is the throttle position sensor (TPS). By adjusting the ESP slightly (see Ulf's DIY solution in the error database), I was able to eliminate the unstable idle and jerking at 1200 rpm.

Sure, I was able to remove it through adaptation on my original control unit as well.
However, there are also enough cases where adaptation doesn't solve the problem or where people don't trust the ESP (Electronic Stability Program).

Gesture recognition is a topic all its own.

I tried it out. Without the shock absorbers, riding in stop-and-go traffic feels like being on a goat, so that's not the solution.

I already thought that! icon_redface.gif

Those affected have always written the same thing. The "10ct tuning" has little to no effect on the jerky 1Z engine (I experienced this myself - only an Authal box worked!).

My device always worked perfectly fine, even when there was some stuttering or lag.

The Authal box uses a series resistor with the reference coil. Some other boxes use a parallel resistor connected to pins 2 and 3, and those didn't work for me.
Other posts in this forum with similar issues of jerky 1Z engines and 10ct tuning also state the same thing.

My box definitely also has a resistor in series! icon_smile.gif
