Diagnosis Interface

Hey, where can I actually get the connector for the diagnostic interface? Also, does it also fit on the serial port?

Hi,
To connect the serial port of a PC to the diagnostic port, you first need an adapter (Jeff Noxon, the link should be on the left side).
I am also looking for an (affordable) alternative to the 16-pin diagnostic socket in the car
I believe it's the most efficient solution to tap into 3-4 lines and connect them to a sub-D connector that matches the pin configuration of the adapter.
