Hi,

What should an optimally configured boost pressure curve look like?
According to my LDA (likely referring to a diagnostic tool or reading), the boost pressure increases sharply when the accelerator pedal is pressed quickly.
It is then increased to 1.4 to 1.5 bar and subsequently reduced to approximately 1 bar.
It then adjusts to approximately 1.2 bar. The car has been tuned with a chip.

Now, my question:
Is that normal, or is it also possible to achieve this by adjusting...?
Reaching the threaded rod on the VTG container, following the...
The pressure immediately reaches the target value of 1.2 bar.
without losing its vibrancy.

Hi Achim,

If everything goes well, you can achieve the desired effect by adjusting the VTG.

It's also possible that the VTG (Variable Transmission Gear) is sticking, which would make the overshoots "rougher."

Hi Ulf,

I'm not sure if I understood your answer correctly.

I was thinking about extending the threaded rod to...
Keep the overswing smaller, so that, after the overswing...
Do not adjust it again towards lower boost pressure.
I must. However, I fear that this might cause weakness at the start.
brings.

That's exactly what I meant.
