Hello!

LauInstructions:

Quote:
White connector housing (T15), how to unlock it???
...
White cable on pin 7.
Blue wires on pin 8.
red wires on pin 9.
black cables on PIN 10
.

There's a white connector on my engine control unit (ECU), but two of the pins shown are already occupied. I've taken two pictures of these two white connectors.

Image of control unit 038 906 012 AH - Bosch part number: 0 281 010 200.

"Can anyone help me with this? I don't want to damage the control unit. I only have the 4 wires from the steering stalk switch. But where do they go exactly (into the small or large connector)? Does anyone have a pinout diagram for that? The original part number of the steering stalk switch is: 4DO 953 513 P 01C."

Unlocking is probably the lesser of two evils: The GRA activation code is also listed.

Hi,
the pins on the engine control unit that are related to the GRA (Gas Return Actuator).
They should be 14, 44, 45, and 46.

Best regards, Micha.

They
should be 14, 44, 45, and 46. Yes, they are indeed. I used a pass-through tester to check this 15-pin white connector. The described connections (i.e., pins 7 through 10) on that connector directly connect to pins 14, 44, 45, and 46 of the engine control unit. Then, I checked the turn signal lever and the switches for the cruise control to see if the buttons actually work. Yes, they do. Then, at the workshop, I had the code entered, and I saw myself that the letter (G) appeared in the control unit, where there was none before. According to several texts on the internet, this means that the cruise control has been activated.

Conclusion: electrically correctly wired, the lever functions perfectly, GRA is enabled. Unfortunately, it STILL DOESN'T WORK icon_confused.gif. Also, there are no error codes in the control unit. The included fuse is also fine. I then disconnected the control unit for an hour, but there was no reaction. This stupid thing just won't work. Now, my only option is to take it to the AUDI workshop so they can check the control unit for functionality. Otherwise, I'm out of ideas.

Okay, so my cruise control is now working perfectly. Through a different wiring diagram and by checking the connections, it turned out that the actual power supply (terminal 75X) was completely missing in the "original plan." Now it works (after a long time). icon_smile.gif
