Speech Synthesizer for PC

Hi.

My passenger-side door is creaking.
Whenever hip-hop or similar music with a lot of bass is playing.

Does anyone know of a small PC program that can generate various frequencies, allowing me to reproduce the problem (without throwing a rave) and then verify the fix?

If it needs to be very simple: dgen.exe (double sine wave generator). I have no idea where I got it from.

Can Audacity also generate sounds?
I didn't know that.
