Hello,
So, I'm curious (due to a specific situation) whether we have to accept that 'non-original replacement parts' sometimes differ significantly from the original parts, even though they are intended for a particular vehicle!
So, I ended up slashing my tires because, stupidly, I didn't immediately realize that the replacement fender was over 1cm narrower than the original!!! And you probably know how much of a difference that can make!!!
So, my tires no longer fit properly, and then it happened when I hit the first pothole! Thankfully, I noticed it before anything worse happened!
Hello.

Yes.
The repair patches that used to be available for welding over were just as bad: thin, soft, poorly fitting, and "drawn" with unsightly creases.
Unfortunately, I haven't had good experiences with aftermarket brake pads on my C4 either. Gruß Christian
