Hello, I've experienced this problem for the second time today. After washing my car (Audi A4, new model, 1.9 TDI-PD, 130 hp) at a self-service car wash and trying to drive away, I experienced extreme turbo lag every time I accelerated, regardless of the gear or speed. For the first 1-2 seconds, almost nothing happens when I press the accelerator, and then it accelerates normally. After turning off the engine and restarting it, the problem disappeared. The first time it happened, it was the same (although I don't remember if I had washed the car at that time, maybe it's related). Does anyone know what this could be?
Best regards,

Hi.
That also reminds me of my time with the VTG, although the "limp mode" periods were quite inconsistent there, sometimes lasting for several minutes after the start. Gruß Ulf

How can you be sure that it won't cause problems again?
'Another question: Under what conditions did you test the ease of shifting? In my case, it was very smooth as long as the engine was cold, but it became more difficult when the oil temperature reached 50°C.'
I recommend installing an LDA and, using a large syringe, re-checking the VTG.
